Instructions

- To start, we’re gonna create our honey garlic sauce by taking this clean bowl.
- Add our soy sauce here, our honey, rice wine vinegar, our grated ginger, and our red chili flakes, and we’re just gonna get out of mix.
- Move this aside.
- Bring over our cornstarch.
- Take two tablespoons of water and to try our bowl without cornstarch.
- Mix this up to make our slurry.
- Head over to our cooktop.
- Crank up our cooktop over medium heat.
- Add our olive oil.
- As that oil heats up, add our onions and our bell peppers and cook these for about three to four minutes until they soften.
- After that two to four minutes, go in with your ground beef.
- Cook this for the next five to seven minutes breaking it up as you cook it.
- Hit that with a little salt and a little pepper.
- Continue to cook it until that meat is brown and cooked all the way through.
- After about five minutes and our beef is cooked all the way through, add our chopped garlic.
- Cook this for another thirty to forty five seconds.
- After that forty five seconds, add our broccoli florets here.
- Give this mixed in.
- Add about one fourth cup of water.
- Take a lid and cover this up and let it steam for about four to five minutes.
- After about four minutes, remove our lid.
- Give your honey garlic sauce a quick mix and then pour it over the top just like this.
- Stir everything together.
- Now what we’re gonna do is let this simmer, drop our heat down the load and we’re gonna let this simmer for about two to three minutes.
- After that two to three minutes, we want that sauce to thicken up for us to be a little caramelized.
- Add our slurry, give it a quick mix for you add it.
- Mix it real quick.
- Then let this simmer for another two minutes.
- After that two minutes, give this a quick stir, turn our heat off.
- Remove it from our cooktop over to our cutting board.
- Let this sit for about two minutes to let that sauce settle and thicken up.
- After about a couple of minutes, end this off by and a few sesame seeds here to the top.
