Instructions

- We’re going to start with the broccoli.
- I have two heads of broccoli here.
- You need this broccoli to be nice and clean.
- Let’s cut our broccoli.
- I like to cut them very small, by the way.
- Once you have your broccoli nice and cut up, you are going to add them to your water.
- You need lots of water for them to soak and really get cleaned up.
- Once you add them to the water, you’re going to grab apple cider vinegar or white distilled vinegar.
- You want to pour a cup full of that.
- I’m going to sprinkle that on here.
- Give it a little mix just like that.
- We’re going to let it soak while we season the chicken.
- We have about two pounds of boneless, skinless chicken thighs.
- We’re going to remove some of the fat.
- We don’t want too much of that in there.
- We’re going to remove some of the fat and then dice our chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- Cut them into small pieces or however, whatever size you like.
- I have the chicken nice and cut into bite size pieces.
- Now, we’re going to season it.
- I’m going to drizzle some olive oil on there.
- Give it a quick mix, just like this.
- Make sure it’s nicely coated with the oil.
- I have a whole lot of seasoning here.
- We’re going to sprinkle that seasoning all over our chicken.
- Sprinkle carefully on there, mix it together, make sure every piece of that chicken is nicely coated with the seasoning.
- We want everybody to be nice and delicious.
- We have our chicken nicely seasoned and ready to go.
- I have my skillet on medium high heat.
- We’re going to drizzle some olive oil in there about two tablespoons.
- Now, I am going to place my chicken right in.
- Just like this.
- We’re going to cook it for about three to four minutes per side.
- I’m going to cook it for about three to four minutes then I’ll flip them over.
- All right, time to flip the chicken over.
- This side get nice and golden brown until everything is nicely cooked, then we can remove set aside.
- All right, guys, the chicken is ready.
- We are about to take it out.
- I’m going to set it aside.
- We are going to be using the same skillet to cook the broccoli, to get all that seasoning.
- Let that rest for now.
- So you all know the broccoli have been soaking into this apple cider, vinegar water.
- I am going to rinse it several times.
- Then we can cook the broccoli.
- All right, the same skillet.
- You’re going to drizzle a little bit more of the oil, not too much.
- Then you’re going to add your clean broccoli in there, just like this.
- It’s okay if there’s a little bit of water in there.
- Cover it for a few minutes.
- It’s going to cook with the steam.
- Add your broccoli in there, let it steam, then flip it over, allow it to steam.
- I have been stirring this occasionally for about the past five minutes.
- Now, we ready to season.
- This right here is complete seasoning.
- I’m going to sprinkle it all over my broccoli.
- Give it a stir.
- I like to add the seasoning before I add the soy sauce.
- Give it a stir, flip it over, and then add the remaining of that seasoning.
- Give it a stir.
- This is low sodium soy sauce.
- When I’m adding it to my pan, I like to add it on the side.
- Give it a mix, so I don’t burn it.
- So on the side, then mix.
- You see this?
- You can lower your temperature at this time.
- Your broccoli is pretty much ready.
- You can pour your chicken in there.
- Or you can just place it on the side.
- There’s juice right there, flavor.
- Just pour that in here, and there you go.
Cooking Tips
Cutting the broccoli small will actually add more flavors.
Make sure to rinse it really good when you’re ready to use this.
Of course, you can use chicken breast, but you know chicken thighs is nice and juicy and that’s what we want.
We don’t want too much of that in there.
I don’t like having, you know, I have nails. I don’t like such a meat with my bare hands, especially if I have nails, you know, fake nails and stuff.
It’s going to be a lot of seasoning, but as we cooking this, we might lose some of that seasoning. That’s why I always go for a little bit more than usual.
We don’t need that much oil, keep in mind there’s some leftover fat on the chicken that will produce that oil we need to keep it nice and juicy.
I do like a nice crust on the chicken and the inside will be nice and juicy.
It’s okay if there’s a little bit of water in there. We do want this to cook and steam.
You can add a pinch of water in there if you want the process a little bit faster.
I don’t like soggy. How do I say this, like over-cooked broccoli? I like a little crunch on the outside. That’s why I didn’t add it in water.
We don’t want the seasoning to burn.
I like to add the seasoning before I add the soy sauce.
When I’m adding it to my pan, I like to add it on the side. Give it a mix, so I don’t burn it.
If you add it right in the middle, it’s going to just evaporate, and you’re not gonna really taste the flavor on the broccoli. So on the side, then mix.
