Merry-Me-Chicken Recipe

So I’ve been hearing a lot about this merry-me-chicken and it seems to have everyone in a choke-o

So I figured out to show you guys how to make this recipe and try to make it as easy as possible

So make sure you watch this video till the end and I’m gonna show you how to get it done

Why You’ll Love This Dish

Ingredients

  • seasoning blend
  • avocado oil
  • chicken thighs
  • one half of an iron
  • fresh Parmesan cheese (about one to two cups)
  • about a tablespoon of oil
  • three tablespoons of butter
  • garlic
  • one cup of chicken broth
  • one tablespoon of flour (maybe a tablespoon in a teaspoon, it’s a little bit more than a tablespoon)
  • two cups of heavy creamer
  • some Cajun season
  • fresh spinach (as much as you would like)

Ingredients for Merry-Me-Chicken

Instructions

  1. Mix in your seasoning blend.
  2. You just want to mix that in really well.
  3. Add your avocado oil to that.
  4. Mix in all the seeds and use an avocado oil.
  5. Make sure that the paste is like this.
  6. Make sure that you get the seasoning all over the chicken thighs.
  7. Season them all over get under the skin as well.
  8. Just make sure the seasoning is all over.
  9. You’re going to place those to the side.
  10. Get one half of an iron.
  11. Break that down and dice it up really good.
  12. Get you some fresh Parmesan cheese.
  13. Grate about one to two cups.
  14. Prep and place that to the side.
  15. Get you about a tablespoon of oil.
  16. Add that to your hot cast iron skillet.
  17. Place in your chicken.
  18. Cook each side for about five to six minutes.
  19. Make sure that you lay it all in there flat to as well.
  20. Once you get them both brown on each side, remove the chicken from the pan.
  21. Just get you a little pan on the side or plate just a place of chicken in you can just place it to the side.
  22. Add three tablespoons of butter in there.
  23. Use that butter to pull up all of that seasoning.
  24. Mix it in with that butter.
  25. Before that butter melts, add in those diced ions that you chopped up earlier.
  26. Add just some garlic to that as well.
  27. Mix that in there.
  28. Saute that.
  29. Add in one cup of chicken broth.
  30. Mix that in there and bring that to a boil.
  31. Add one tablespoon of flour to that.
  32. Add two cups of heavy creamer.
  33. Bring that up to a boil.
  34. Once it starts to thicken up, we’re going to move to the next step.
  35. Add in our fresh spinach.
  36. Add as much as you would like to that.
  37. Add in our Parmesan cheese.
  38. I’m going to mix that in there.
  39. Make sure that you’re stirring as you know mixing so that way that your cheese doesn’t burn to the bottom of the pan.
  40. Once it starts to like break down and condense, turn the heat off actually.
  41. Put the chicken back in.
  42. Coat it with the sauce.
  43. Make sure it’s on top.
  44. Place it in the oven on 450 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 25 to 30 minutes.

Cooking Tips

  • Listen where cutting gloves.
  • Don’t don’t do what I’m doing here.
  • Just make sure you guys do not leave the grill.
  • Please don’t leave your skillet.
  • Whatever your cooking this on do not leave.
  • You don’t want your chicken to be unevenly cooked again.
  • Remember we’re just getting it brown.
  • Just trust the process.
  • Get the heavy creamer over the half a half if you want to spice it up a little bit.
  • Go ahead and add you some Cajun season to the top and that should give it a nice pop give it a nice heat to it brings nice heat to the dish.
  • Depending on your heat tolerance level, go with some Cajun season.
  • If you really want to push it get some Cajun season it and throw that in there.
  • My advice is just to keep your eyes on it.
  • Make sure you check it every probably 15 minutes.
  • I will check it and then check it again at 20 minutes.
  • Keep checking it periodically, but especially around like the 15 minute the 20 minute mark definitely just start checking to make sure everything is good.
  • Make sure you temp it, the turnow temperature should be greater than 165 degrees.

It’s safe to say that no one’s going to be leaving anyone after trying this
