I don’t like when it’s soft because I wanted to taste like brown peas, not like turkey, brown turkey, so that will suck in brown enough.

  • a pound of turkey
  • salt
  • pepper
  • red pepper flakes
  • onion powder
  • garlic
  • minced garlic (about two cloves)
  • a little olive oil
  • baby spinach (the whole bag)
  • the marinara
  • part skim ricotta (about 2 cups)
  • penne pasta (half the box)
  • mozzarella (about half a cup)
  • Parmesan (about a quarter cup)

  1. I’m just going to fry this up.
  2. I’m going to get it dark so I don’t like when it’s soft because I wanted to taste like brown peas, not like turkey, brown turkey, so that will suck in brown enough.
  3. I’m going to add the baby spinach.
  4. I’m going to add the marinara.
  5. I’m going to add some water to the jar to clean out the jar.
  6. We’re going to add some ricotta.
  7. I’m going to stir this up.
  8. We want to stir it up.
  9. I’m going to add just a tad, just a tad, a pasta water.
  10. I’m going to put this in a half the roll dish.
  11. I’m only going to add like half a cup of mozzarella.
  12. I’m going to put about a quarter cup on top.
  13. I should cover it.
  14. I’m going to cover it for 20 minutes.
  15. In the last 10 minutes, I’m going to uncover it, so I can get brown.

I’m sure you can use frozen if you do just make sure you drain it.

You can reserve that pasta water, because you never know, you might need it.

Serving Suggestions

Next time I think I would try some sun dried tomatoes, maybe even shrimp.
